Tasca La Farmacia is a meeting point, a lively tapas restaurant in Madrid where locals and travellers come together to enjoy food, conversation and culture.

Open since 1993, this traditional Spanish tavern has two locations in Madrid: one in the elegant Barrio de Salamanca, on Calle Diego de León 9, and another in the Castellana area, just a few metres from Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, on Calle Poeta Joan Maragall 21.

The first Tasca was created in the space of an old pharmacy, and we decided to preserve its original charm: the apothecary counter, the shelves and display cabinets, old jars and glass vials and many other authentic details that catch the eye and make Tasca La Farmacia a truly unique place to eat in Madrid.

Traditional Spanish cuisine

Our restaurant has a team of professionals who will make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Here you can enjoy our house speciality, salt cod prepared in different styles, our traditional Spanish home-style cooking and our famous crispy pork belly, all served in an original and cosy setting.

The menu includes classic dishes such as chickpea and cod stew and other comforting spoon dishes like organic beluga lentils with vegetables or braised potatoes with baby squid, as well as generous sharing plates of dry-aged picanha, cured meats and a wide variety of tapas. Our star dish is cod, cooked in several different ways; the most popular are our pil-pil cod and garlic cod, two essential bites if you want to discover authentic Spanish cuisine in Madrid.
